Farrah Fawcett's Failing Health

After a three-year battle with anal cancer, former “Charlie’s Angel” Farrah Fawcett is back in the hospital – this time, it may be for good. The television star, who began her career in the 1960s making commercials for consumer products, has reportedly ‘taken a turn for the worse.’ According to Extra, Fawcett’s 90-year-old father James is rushing to her bedside, as she may not have long to live. Fawcett recently learned that the cancer had spread to her liver, and she was treated with chemotherapy.

Online reports suggest that Fawcett’s incarcerated son Redmond – currently serving time for drug charges – will be temporarily released, allowing him to say goodbye. Ryan O’Neal, the 62-year-old actress’ longtime partner and the father of Redmond, vows to marry his lover before she passes. “Farrah is fighting for her life, but we will wed as soon as she can say yes. Maybe we can just nod her head,” he said.

Farrah Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006.
