Qwest Contracts with NASA

Qwest has always proven itself a leading service provider, and recently Qwest is confirming that even more so. Teaming up with The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Qwest won the contract to provide data services and a range of voice services for connecting NASA’s facilities across the nation. These centers include the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, and the Alabaman Marshal Space Flight Center.

The expected value of the award was roughly $18 million. The contract is under Networx Universal, a subsidiary of the government’s largest communication program, the U.S. General Services Administration’s Networx program. The $18 million contract has a term of 9 years.

The Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qwest Government Services, Diana Gowen, said of the arrangement, “Qwest is proud of its long-standing partnership with NASA.” She continued by saying, “For many years we have provided communications services that support NASA’s missions, and we are looking forward to continuing our work for them under the Networx contract.”

Qwest provides technical networking solutions and communication services to all federal agencies, and this is just the latest development. Additionally to NASA, Qwest will also be working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for its headquarters in the nation’s capital. Qwest is committed to providing the highest standard of services for every one of its customers. Providing communications services to the government, businesses, and homes, Qwest delivers an amazing price for excellent features.
