Perez Hilton & John Mayer Twar

The drama that has unfolded since Will.I.Am’s alleged attack on Perez Hilton is getting more and more interesting with each 140 character Tweet. Now the likes of John Mayer and Kirstie Alley are firing back in support of the Black Eyed Peas singer, and his entourage. Mayer and Hilton have been publically disputing the incident via Twitter, where Mayer has called Hilton’s handling of the altercation into question. When did the Internet become such a powerful forum for debate?

Kirstie Alley, 58-year-old TV star, was pleased with Mayer’s criticism of the gossip blogger, who on many accounts has made fun of her recent weight gain. Perez Hilton is notorious for operating “Hollywood’s Most-Hated Website,” and has thus stepped on many famous toes. Mayer insinuated that karma that has led to Hilton’s recent assault, and that he lacked “the situational awareness not to get in someone’s face.”
